Tucked under Rochester’s Frederick Douglass - Susan B. Anthony Bridge, the new Roc City Skatepark is a key component of the city’s Roc the Riverway project to revitalize the downtown waterfront.

Phase 1 of this project consisted of an advanced flow bowl and a terracing plaza which descends from a new multi-use pathway down to a covered street style lane beneath the bridge.  Artistic details are incorporated to reflect the history of the site, with future phase connections considered in the preliminary design to allow the skatepark to easily expand in Phase 2.
