One of the first concrete skateparks in the Philippines, the UN Communitere Youth Hub in Tacloban created a fun haven for local kids in need of a safe space with healthy recreation opportunities.

In 2015, staff at UN Communitere reached out to Skateistan about developing a skatepark at their new facility in Tacloban.  By providing site analysis, preliminary designs, budget and construction planning, and resources for the development of their programs, the local team was able to take a small space and turn it into a successful youth hub for the local community.
