Luanda, Angola features the first skatepark in Africa from the Concrete Jungle Foundation, a non-profit expanding access to skatepark spaces across the developing world.

While working in Johannesburg, I had connected with skateboarders across Africa who sought to build the first skateparks in their home countries, including the Angola Skateboard Union in Luanda.  After a few years of planning and design with local volunteers, I introduced ASU to the Concrete Jungle Foundation and supportive donors to help them create a well rounded skatepark space with continuous programs for local youth to access.
