The Vancouver Skateboard Amenities Strategy, CitySkate, sets a new standard for the master planning of skateparks and all-wheel amenities in a city.
A comprehensive plan for the development of skatepark facilities over the next 20 years, the CitySkate strategy was unanimously approved by Vancouver Park Board after years of local advocacy. As the lead community liaison between the planning team and local skateboarding community, I worked to ensure all voices were represented, that all opportunities and users were considered, and that intelligent investments in infrastructure were prioritized.Landscape Architecture Magazine
