Replacing the old 1990’s Fernie Skatepark, the new park required custom site integration and earthworks to avoid disruption of contaminated soils and maximize the rideable footprint for the available budget.

A first for the region, the Fernie Skatepark includes a covered pool bowl to provide shade and shelter from the elements and an extended riding season.  Custom detailing, color and landscaping, a variety of street and transition features, and miniature beginner features under the roof make this a great destination for all locals and visitors.
